We had a lot of fun in 1998!
| Ali led things off. She was our April, 1997 GCF Black Performer B47 heifer that showed well everywhere she went in both '97 and '98. She won our County 'Preview" Show, was Reserve Grand Champion over all breeds at the County Fair and stood second to another 'Performer' daughter in a very tough April Yearling Heifer class at the Ohio State Fair. | ![]() |

Jerrod showed this guy at the Ohio Simmental State Show in May where he was slapped Reserve Grand Champion Steer. He was born in May, '97 out of a Buck cow and 'Performer.' He was the right size, finishing out 1210 pounds while measuring 52 inches at the hip. We had him ultrasounded at the Ohio State Fair where his ribeye measured a whopping 14.6 square inches when he was only weighing 1110 pounds live! |

| Jason exhibited this 3/4 blood 'Performer' son as a market steer at our County Fair in October. In a pretty good crossbred show (90+ steers), he won his class weighing 1360 pounds and measuring 52.25 inches at the hip. Judge Jim Sutherly said he was the "most ideally finished steer" he handled all day! | Photo not available, yet |

Jason showed Meg in '98 and will be taking her out again in 1999. This March, 1998 'Performer' daughter out of a 600U cow we raised stood second in her class at the Ohio State Fair in a tough Junior Heifer Class to the Hughes' heifer that won a class at the NAILE! We expect big things out of her in 1999 - and she's got EPDs that will run with the best. The photo shows her at the 1999 Ohio Beef Expo where she stood 2nd in class. |
