Black Performers J20
GCF Black Performer B47 X Fastbreak dam

No matter how you look at J20, he's a bull that's loaded with all the right stuff! Born on March 19, 1999, he was shown successfully throughout the year, and was the heaviest WPDA Simmental bull at the Ohio State Fair in 1999 at 4.66 pounds/day/age. He was born weighing 96 pounds, has an adjusted weaning weight of 926 pounds and frame scores 7.4. His full brother is currently working the commercial Angus herd of Jim and Dee Jepsen, Amanda, OH. Black and smooth polled (most likely homozygous polled), he'll get the job done in the breeding pasture or show ring this year. Consider these facts:

* J20 passed his breeding soundness exam (BSE) at 11 months of age - he's mature and ready to breed cows!
* At 11 months, J20 had a scrotal circumference of 39 square cm - his daughters will mature early!
* This guy's sire has never had his hooves trimmed and is still working the pasture breeding cows at 8 years of age - J20 will stay in the herd!
* At 11 months, J20 had a pelvic area of 174 sq. cm - his daughters will have large pelvic areas too!
* His sire has positive EPDs for Percent Retail cuts and Marbling Score - J20's off spring will work in the feedlot!
* In retained ownership 'feedouts', J20's half siblings have gone to market at under 13 months of age and 1250 pounds - they'll fit the box!
* J20 is currently on a corn silage and hay diet and housed on a dirt lot - he's in his workin' clothes and ready to go home!
